What are Stewardship Groups?
The Stewardship Groups are a collection of individuals and organizations from the local area that are working with the Siuslaw National Forest to promote forest restoration that meets the needs of local communities.

About the Stewardship Initiative
The Coast Range Stewardship Initiative assists projects located in the Siuslaw Watershed and Coastal Lakes area, the Alsea Stewardship area, the Mary's Peak Stewardship area, and newly formed Hebo Stewardship area! Each year, approximately $160,000 is available from the Coast Range Stewardship Fund through the USFS Siuslaw National Forest. Projects need to support and promote watershed and community health and benefit the National Forest. For information, see the Stewardship Fund page.

- Alsea Stewardship Group meets from 6-8 PM on the third Monday of the month. Meeting locations are: Alsea Community Library, Fall Creek Fish Hatchery, Waldport Ranger Station and Yachats Commons. Call Ross at (503) 812-4056 or Jackie at (541) 967-5925 ext. 126 for schedule of locations.
- Mary's Peak Stewardship Group meets from 6-8 PM on the fourth Thursday of the month at the Siuslaw National Forest Headquarters in Corvallis.
- Siuslaw Stewardship Group meets from 1-3 PM on the first Thursday of the month at the Mapleton Ranger Station.
- Hebo Stewardship Group meeting locations and times vary monthly.*
