WY-A1-02 Ryder Creek Fish Passage

This project involved replacing 2 undersized failing culverts on private road crossings on Ryder Creek, with adequate size culverts.

Ryder Creek, a coho populated tributary of the North Fork ALsea River, needed this replacement to help restore fish passage and stream function, eliminate flooding and to prevent further erosion.

This project proved to be a success, and has eliminated the flooding and erosion problems at the two road crossings on Ryder Creek. Furthermore, it has also restored stream function and fish passage to over 1.2 miles of high quality anadramous fish habitat.
